On July 24 and July 25 the Pittsburgh Section of the MBCA hosted the Mercedes-Benz show at the 2021 Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix (PVGP). The PVGP is the nation’s only vintage street race and the largest vintage race event, spanning 10 days with two race weekends, car shows, parties, parades and motorsport events. It raises funds for autistic and IDD charities and has donating $5.9 million since its founding in 1983. There were about 90 Mercedes on the first day of the car show alone with a wide range of vehicles from Pontons to an SLS AMG. We even had a W123 coupe with a Tesla engine swap. Everyone was happy to be back to the show and we look forward to seeing even more Mercedes at the 2022 show.
