Perhaps you intended to go ever since it expanded and opened in the old "King Louie" location on Metcalf, but just never got around to it. Or maybe you haven't been there in years. Either way, you'll be in good company as you join the rest of us on Saturday morning, September 11 at 10:00 a.m. for a guided tour of the Arts and Heritage Center of the Johnson County Museum. Please arrive by 9:45 a.m. so as to purchase your tickets in time to meet our tour guide at 10:00 a.m. Adult admission for guided tours is $11 ($10 for seniors and veterans). Exhibits rotate, so if you've been here before, there's always something new. The current limited-time exhibits are Paul McCobb, America's Designer (the greatest American designer you didn't know you knew), and Rising to the Challenge: Suburban Strength In Difficult Times.
