Three Rivers Section

The Lone Star Section had their first official event of 2021 on June 26.  Twenty-Nine members gathered for our annual Show and Shine at Martin Park in Horseshoe Bay, TX.  It was a fun afternoon of socializing, lunch and car show.  Current members of the section welcomed the nine new members in attendance. 

The judging of the cars was conducted by past president’s Rick Everett and Arno Pitzen.  Below are the names of the winners:

• First place - John and Pamela Cooper driving a 1997 Black SL320
• Second place - Mike and Myra Smith driving a 2013 Silver SL55
• Third place - Mark and Cathy Bolles driving a 1998 Silver SL600
• Fourth place - Christina Bedford driving a 1987 Red SL560

Thank you to Ed and Peggy Hoagg for the donation of the prizes, John and Adrian James for hosting and all their help setting up.  Also, Jill Brown, Myra Smith and Debbie Everett.  Lunch was provided by Cowtown BBQ, in Cottonwood Shores.
